3 Minutes of Silence

An Invitation to Spiritual Communion

A little while ago I asked myself, "If you could do anything, what would that be?"

The answer was, “ I’d invite people to come together and meditate. ”

This is your invitation to join for just 3 minutes at 5 a.m. Greenwich Mean Time on October 2, 2005 with women and men all over the globe coming together and opening their hearts and minds.

There is nothing to buy here.

No religion is being promoted.

I am simply a person like you who has been on the path.

When I finally took the risk and started to be quiet each day my life changed.

In 1939 a man was inspired to invite people to stop and be quiet and try to discern what was for true in an attempt to stop the spreading hostilities that became World War II.

His outlandish example has inspired me to invite all of you to join in 3 minutes of silence at the same moment.

I am so glad that our paths have brought us here, to this moment.

Pass this site on to your friends, families and faith communities.

Let’s be quiet together and see what comes across our hearts.
